Each new build Windows Explorer tree sidebar size is reseted to default (very tiny), Notepad word-wap and size also reseted. Smartscreen notification like "Antivirus disabled" are bad when you already had dismiss that crap notifcation, if you had downloaded extra language stuff like voice pack, you will need to re-download. And many other small configs are always reseted. WTF damn Microsoft, FFS how they can not make it remember current system config. It is veryyyy annoying.
Likely an ignorant question but does the Enterprise "S" not get updated insider builds as frequent? I tried it out on on my HTPC and am really liking the fact is has less bloat and seems snappy.
I tried to download the decrypters from abbodi and adguard. Windows Defender reports Trojan:Win32/lpac.F!cl and Trojan:Win32/Gatrid.B!cl. Can these be safely disregarded as false positives?
I didn't understand this new feature : It show on when you press on quick action button and off if you press again.
Not sure if it is related to the Insider Preview builds, but for the last 3 on one machine I am having an issue with the Start Menu, when I open it it will close after about 1-2 seconds and I can't click on anything or really use it. SFC scan didn't find any integrity errors, and Event Viewer doesn't show anything when it happens. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks
I did, it opens Feedback Hub, of course EDIT: Interestingly, it fades the screen momentarily before opening FH
Wonder if this is related to explorer restarting for other custom File Explorer's context menu shortcuts (that I made a thread for and could not even get a single member on this site to confirm was actually a problem).
