First of all, I am doing this at the same time as 5 other things that I need to do (such as managing the entire family's tech (Desktops, laptops, teablets, phones, etc.), helping around with development (mainly on XDA), doing Social Service (or in a direct translation, "national service", although I do not belive in the state I live in, I'm doing this voluntarily on behalf of my nation), Work, and preparing for exams (redoing Mathematics, to get a good score in a higher learning group) in order to learn Software Engineering at one of the best universities in my country). Second, had you checked my join date, you would have seen that I joined last year, I just mainly used this site to help others, and there wasn't much that I could help back then with. But in any case, I'm not trying to pick a fight here, only to ask that if someone is in any case downloading the upgrade, that they would post the temporay link. I'm currently on an older build (not 14372, much older, I forget which, however it's an RS1 build which still shows version 1511) on my x64 build, and my x86 build was on the "stable" version, due to a lack of time for upgrades. I try to pick out time for beta testing amongst all this juggling, however it's limited by real-life, and no, I do not play videogames (and haven't since I had stopped a 1.5 years ago.
instead of running around why dont you see what your issue is that your downloads keep stopping at 1.5gb?
I'd be glad to, if anyone could help me. I've been trying to find out for the past half of the year. Probably not, but perhaps my download speed could be the culprit? Since we're paying for 40Mbt/s, however the maximum speed possible in our area is 30Mbt/s.
Maybe it cause of having " the entire family's tech (Desktops, laptops, teablets, phones, etc.), " all online at the same time You're trying to download Are You using Ethernet instead of Wi-Fi Did You log in Your ISP default IP# and check Your broadband statistics for Your signal to noise ratio and if You're getting a large amount of FEC or CRC errors EDIT: Crap I spell bad
Actually, I prefer to manage them offline, so that's not an issue, especially since it currently 3AM over here (I'm going to sleep in a few minutes, have to wake up at 6AM). Currently using Wi-Fi, only way to use Ethernet is by going upstairs and waking everyone up, besides, all other websites and downloads are fine, and with torrents and certain servers, I can use up the entire bandwith we get from our ISP, even on Wi-Fi. And yes, it's on the default IP# in any case, with no FEC or CRC errors. (I've never had FEC errors in my life, however I have had CRC errors a few years ago).
Holy monkey balls batman, by the time you finish arguing why you are too important to download things yourself, you could have downloaded things yourself, 17 posts in 9 months... must have helped a lot of members here All those other things you are too busy doing, are hobbies, fun, and choices, you are not caring for a dying spider monkey called John, having to feed 17 kittens you rescued from drowning every hour, stop crying and go find your own downloads If you have exams, get off the interwebz, stop playing with pre-release, and study
Bat brain work slow So Bat still trying to figure out why everybody want to have the latest OS version with all the newest features, when they still haven't learned to use Google search
