It is things like this that make me not post or even bother checking the forums much anymore these days. I yearn for the days of old where if you did not know how to use the internet you just did not get to use it. I hate to say it, but all these threads really do now is degenerate into give me, give me, give me so and so link. There used to be a time to come find tweeks, tips, findings, easter eggs and so on, but not anymore.
Hi everyone I installed this edition clean install type, all good just that except weather no app works and store closes right away after I open it, tried wsreset some guides on internet and sfc /scannow with no avail. Already reported to MS I have the insider account in use fortunately, anyone else found this error? can point me to where read or anything would be awesome, thanks
Time & Date correct? Same thing happened to my laptop, it doesn't have a battery, and I'm guessing the BIOS battery is dead or dying, as the time and date remains the same as the last time it was shutdown, when it is booted back up Store broke, tried all the fixes too, nothing worked, (10586) so just upgraded to Insiders to fix it, and disabled fast boot, which seems to force the time to auto update as soon as it connects to the net on first boot now
Just checked and used old control panel, clock hardware and region and made it sync with MS server time.windows.com and nothing yet, no clue, thanks dude anyway
You could run an in-place upgrade, basically just upgrade to the exact same version of Windows you are currently running, fixes all the broken bits, and leaves everything else the way it was Should just have to run disk cleanup to remove windows.old afterwards
