Anything worthwhile get axed and shipped over to another product line. WMC -> Xbox (One) Texting Everywhere -> Skype It's inevitable. If there's a demand ship it to a product line that needs the boost. It's not just device integration, it's software integration. Xbox has huge competition and people want the media center so Xbox becomes both a media center and a game center. Skype, same story. Huge competition so it gets texting everywhere so people need to install Skype to get that feature...
WMC drop has nothing to do with demand (1.5 millions of contacts to the WMC thread, taking in account MDL alone, are enough to demonstrate it). WMC was dropped just because the same reason the iPhone lacks a cheap FM receiver. Contents from Antenna are mostly free, and each song or movie received OTA means a potential loss of a paid and controlled download trough the internet. MS is trying desperately to ape Apple and the WMC removal is one of the most evident consequences.
If any of you think you have more pull with Dona, then find out what Build she is using at the Partners Conference Clue: It Is NOT 14385
Shew. They have changed this stuff up to often. WZor has "14385.0.160706-1700.rs1_release_CLIENTENTERPRISE_VOL_x64fre_en-us" this posted to download. This is not the Enterprise S build is it?
