Looks like we have to wait for confirmation from MS then, not really any way to work out if it's RTM or not other than rumours and interweb chatter EDIT - She's actually confirmed it's not, then what was this all about Dona Sarkar @donasarkar 3h3 hours ago ...but especially today. It's going to be a great weekend, team!
Abbodi1406's post about releasing the ondemand packages should give us some info, they only release them for non insider previews.
OEMs must have a version, they must install it on the new computers and this was the same by 10240 ore 10586, 2 weeks befor official release have the oems a rtm for install!390 must be the rtm ore the oems goes up in smoke
If you look at the chatter on Twitter, a lot of credible people are saying that Microsoft is just not going to call this RTM, no matter what. Like others have said, Microsoft is certainly treating this like an RTM build.
Custom firewall rules lost (new in this build), Win+X additions lost (new to builds starting last week), Task Scheduler history disabled (this one baffles the mind), IE compatibility view settings lost, http/https protocol defaults removed (assuming you had it set to another browser)....
Performing my clean install. Should I install this now on my main PC or wait until Dona tell us more info about new builds?
