No. Really, there isn't anything substantial. Unless you feel like you need to be updated, like, super updated... Me in that case
yeah my personal win firewall rules are never reset with any builds, also my pdf files stay with the app i choose (reader),and my other defaults stay the same,as with firefox for browser and powerdvd for videos.
i think it's best to install it as an insider, you mightn't see much difference in the build, but we're testing it for a reason, -as in the blog - We are focusing on making some structural improvements to OneCore which is the shared “heart” of Windows across PC, tablet, phone, IoT, Hololens and Xbox. We’re doing some code refactoring and other engineering work to make sure OneCore is optimally structured for teams to start checking in new features and improvements in a few months, donna also tweeted what was holding up the download - we think we know what's up -related to the device pool. We are working on a fix, will update soon.
It updated without any issues on my PC, but killed the Boot-Loader / BCD on my wife's PC, after it refused a few times to install the update. I managed to fix it, but had to jump through quite some loops, because all the common way's wouldn't work and now it's even installing the update. The update fixed my Store, which caused me a big headache for a while now.
Once again ignoring the whole point of the Insider Program. Again, these builds might be the most important of them all. There are probably thousands of changes under the hood, preparing for future feature updates. It's worth installing this, this is why Microsoft needed Insiders in the first place.
