[DISCUSSION] Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14915 (PC + Mobile)

Perhaps, it looks like this is going to be the last build we will see before 2017. I am guessing.

Something went wrong with the "server update", I hope everything goes well, really!

 

H'mm my start button has stopped working and I have no idea why...Cortana is still working so can use her to check for updates.

 

Store is broken same as previous build.. Anything that I can do?

 

Well solved it:- tried sfc /scannow and it got to 33% and a message came up "windows resource protection could not perform etc"..well that was useless. Anyway booted into another hard drive with win 10 (not insider) and scanned the faulty drive with sfc /scannow that got to 100% but a message came up couldn't fix corrupt files in Windows resource etc h'mm anyway if fixed the start button.

 

Stop using registry cleaners and removing things, In QUICK LINKS in my Sig, there is link to repair image with DISM

 

RS2 developers have been low key are they releasing anything this week?

 

Classic Shell/Classic Menu is more reliable and easier to use IMHO.

Not sure that it is exactly "reliable", but it adds really great value and flexibility to Windows 10. I use it too.
