What do you consider a Big Update ? We may not see another build now till Jan. 2017 due to Christmas Break at Microsoft. Notice I said "may not" didn't say "won't see another build".
Yea, welcome back SAM , I knew that morning when I saw those posts that it was not you, good luck and I'm sure they set you up with good strong password, again glad your back man
When I first attempted to upgrade through WU to 14986 from 14971, the system sat for a while at 0% downloaded and I got tired of waiting for it so I rebooted and tried again. This time the upgrade install failed due to an internal error #. I removed the .bt~ folder on c:\ and then went to c:\windows\software distribution and deleted all files and folders inside that were dated that day (so you know they came from the botched 14986 install attempt.) After those steps I rebooted and tried the upgrade through WU again--this time, being careful not to interrupt it, the WU upgrade install to 14986 from 14971 proceeded without incident. Build is running fine, thankfully. Offered for whatever it is worth...
Last night, less than 12 hours after get in the Insider Program, I received the insider build on my Windows 10 Pro x64 14393. It is downloading now a full ESD I think because the program warned me that it is a "Big" download
