win update downloaded fairly quickly but then failed to install with error 0x8007000b, retry gave same error,i deleted contents in the software distribution download folder then the update took ages and was more than 3.4g this time,it's now installing normally,i think microsoft changed back to an ordinary upgrade process.
You are just cheaters. This topic shows how many of yours here, upgrading each new build over previous without reason. Install slow channel ISO and накати по маленькой ))
All files "FileVersion" are tagged as 10.0.14986.1000 (WinBuild.160101.0800) that's the converted ISO name will be too
cheaters? i don't know what you are talking about,the reason microsoft prefers us upgrading through windows update is to test problems with the upgrade process,as that is how most of the public will be upgrading their machines.

I also got bsods. They were caused by Oracle Additions installed in the previous build. Started the OS in the safe mode and removed them.
Noticed disk cleanup doesn't give you a warning about deleting previous Windows installations any more, used to pop up saying you would not be able to roll back if you continued
