I have same problem stuck in 0%, I fixed it by download ESD to ISO then mount that ISO run setup on top of desktop BAM !.
It's finaly started downloading this evening. The Windows Update Optimization progress is 13% done. Jeez!
maybe I should stop all the Negative FeedBack (crap that does not work). and simply click the NO Problem
In official ISO I found additional file in /sources/sxs - along with netfx3 cab there also an intenet-explorer-optional. What is it?
That could be it, it was mentioned in the update.mum, and 15002 and up gave the message "an app has been reset to it's default settings" directly after first boot in AC, maybe that was about msie and edge or wmp? It could also be the reason they made update.catalog available for other browsers then msie only
Only those 2 already have duplicates as an UWP, right? So yeah, maybe there will be 3 *.cab, soon. Maybe MS will remove WMP completely and leave IE11 as cab for compatability...
Would you do me a favor? Would you explain how to go about in finding 'Edge reinstall guide'? So far, I cannot find anything in reason! I'm running the latest version of Enterprise (not LTSB). In my files there isn't anything to do with Edge. I deleted everything to do with Edge and want to start fresh. Let me explain further. The night (Nov. 1, 2016) I was going to let my machine "sleep." As I did, I noticed there was an update to my system. I thought, "why not." I let it update and then shut down. This morning booted up and low and behold, Edge was non existent. All I saw was an icon and nothing more (thank the Lord I still have Internet Explorer 11 in order to view this site). Naturally, I checked my explorer to see if any part of Edge still exists. I found the folder (C:\Windows\SystemApps\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe) and the application (MicrosoftEdge); however when I tried to open MicrosoftEdge, nothing happened. I right clicked my mouse, went up to "run as administrator" and selected it. A window appears with the following words: "Do you want to run this app from an unknown publisher to make changes to my device?" Call me crazy, but I'm positive Microsoft Edge is from Microsoft; not from an unknown publisher. I do not want to have anything to screw my system up; so I'm asking you what is my next step? On the same token, with an update, why did this happen? Now, as I told you, I uploaded the latest version of Enterprise from Murphy78. I was hoping it refresh my Edge. Well, it didn't. Is there a trick I have to do to get my Edge up and running??? Please let me know...
