What are you seeing with the taskbar? With AC notifications, is it that they're sometimes very late? I've definitely seen that the last several builds in relation to Outlook 2016. Can't say that I've seen it with other apps though.
Can't right or left click on any empty part of the taskbar Can only click on very limited specific parts of open apps or pinned apps on the taskbar, so for example 2/3 of the icon will not respond to any clicks, only the middle of the top 1/3 will register a click With notifications that are sitting in the AC, if I click on one of them, say for Smart Screen, it just fades to nothing and disappears, and Smart screen (or whichever app the notification is for) does not open - about a minute later those notifications are back as if I never clicked on them at all
Clean install (real pc) worked and didn't have to pull the lan during oobe AC notifications are responding. Rightclick taskbar works. Upgrade from 15007 > 15014 (VMWare) AC notifications are responding. Rightclick taskbar works.
Great to read, because on my laptop when this first begon, it started (after updated to 15007) with a black background, and i fixed it to press the view desktop button next to ac button. Then later the ac button not woking and no icons in ac to, and the start button did not work to. Then later all happen at once the start menu will open and ac will open and it respond again. So if this build will fix this all then its great.
Anyone seeing these brand-new annoyances? 1) Action Center, within 30 minutes of booting, becomes completely blank. 2) SpeechRuntime.exe starts eating one CPU core (25% on quad systems, 50% on dual-core, etc). Killing it is no good, since it comes back soon. I may have to change its permissions if there isn't some other workaround.
So any of the mods notice that it really isn't just a progress bar issues and it infact doesn't download/install correctly for many?
If you have Build 15002/07, Windows Update downloading stuck at 0%, Workaround. 1. Create ISO for newer builds. The one I use current 15014. 2. Mount ISO on desktop. 3. Run setup. 4. Make sure ticked both keep files. 5. Install it.
Or doing this. Click Start Type Services Open Services panel Scroll down to Delivery Optimization Right-click it, select Properties Change startup type to Manual Reboot PC Scan for updates (and see if the download progresses)
Well mine has been downloaded at 100% for 30 mins with nothing happening....I'll give it another 30mins and if no change will reboot
