So now they have "a bug that impacts our ability to release this build to PCs running 32-bit (x86) versions" So I need to move to x64 for avoid problems...
that happened to me if you see the above post,i say just leave it as now mine has switched back to downloading and i'm at 50%,earlier it showed 100% installing but then switched back to downloading and it all seems ok at the moment.
Microsoft does not want XP, Vista, Windows 7, let alone 32bits (x86) Hay que actualizar nuestras PENTIUM-SAURIOS!!!
It's just a bug at MSFT's end, they can't leave x86 because there are many new "light" hardware products who still run on x86 only windows. Or the bug exists in x86 insider releases but we've only experienced it with enterprise x86 en-US and only on non uup systems.
I'm not gonna move to x64. I simply can't. My PC is too slow in x64 (CPU is AMD C50) and takes more space in disk, and I only have 32 GB of storage... I'm gonna wait for the ISO's...
Reverted a 32bit VM back to a 15014 snapshot because it wasn't seeing a new build, now it is downloading 15019 again from WU.... ?
I'm using an Acer ICONIA W500 with AMD C50 1GHz, 2 GB DDR3 and 32 GB of SSD, and trust me, even in 32 bit is slow. I don't think it will be faster with a 64 bit OS.
I had one of those. Loved it at first, but yeah, they're slow. I finally sold it to Amazon (Amazon trade-in). Got about half of my money back. It got a Dell Venue 8 Pro, but it's small. So I got a Nextbook Flexx11. It's decent.
Ok. Let the whining begin! At least, there is a good reason to whine this time around. 32-bit OS is important to low end 32-Bit architecture or low system specifications.
mine finished installing updates then restarted but sat at the bios screen without a spinning progress indicator for about 10mins,but then clicked over and is now working on updates, don't know if this will happen to others but just leave it do it's thing if it does, this is the slowest upgrade ever, working on updates 3% -10mins ...4% 15mins and is still on 4%.
