My Windows Update is always set on Fast Build on Windows 10 Build 14393. I always use the esd file from Windows Update and convert it to iso and install on vmware to test it. Also all links for "Abbodi1406 uup-converter-wimlib_3.7z" doesn't work (Server Not Found).
So, when I get time, clean installing here on one of my test machines, to try and get rid of those weird app titles Just saying...
This might be unexpected, but I'm actually in favor of them breaking up the install media into components like this. Yes, it's a pain in the ass for those who just want to convert an esd, but it's actually a step in the right direction for the future and multi-language distribution. Separating the language from the bulk of the files makes it so that you could essentially pack all the languages in the space it would take to hold a few esd files. In the long term, this is a much more efficient method to distribute personal downloads. Keep in mind that it was never intended for end-users to create isos with using custom tools and such. I'm sure any media creation tool in the future will handle all that for us.
I think Microsoft should offer esd files of Insider Builds as an option. Also in a good way that Microsoft has come up with smaller components.
I get the following in SFC. It also says that it is unable to fix them. Unfortunately I didn't run sfc in 15031 so I don't know if that installation had a problem too. I think that simply making build iso's available from the official Microsoft site would be much better... Besides, consumer Windows users aren't going to be downloading entire builds any more frequently than once a year, if that. Also, Microsoft was very successful with Windows Update for consumer builds using patches and service packs when consumers had far less physical storage available and bandwidth was far slower than it averages, today.
Well yes, but these are not meant for the end user. These are designed to reduce bandwidth requirements over long term.
At this time I can say so far no GSOD on this build minor glitches I had but further runs stable I'm happy with this build
So far this build seems to be good and stable so far. This time I decided to install it as a main OS. Since Windows 10 July 2016 Final I only been testing it on VMware.
