[DISCUSSION] Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 15042 (PC)

Does anyone else see the appx package names in the title bar of some uwp apps? E. g. Groove showing "Microsoft.ZuneMusic_8wekyb3d8bbwe!Microsoft.ZuneMusic" in its titlebar?

By dism /sfc he meant "the dism and sfc commands"...

In the titlebar of some apps there isn't the app name shown but the full appx package name. Grove does not say "Groove" in its titlebar and showing its full appx package name instead (Microsoft.ZuneMusic_8wekyb3d8bbwe!Microsoft.ZuneMusic). Same goes for the Feedback Hub and for Movies & TV. Other apps like Mail, Windows Store, Settings do not show this. I even de- and reinstalled Groove via Powershell with no luck. It's just cosmetic, so I can live with it. Just curios if it is only for me or a more general bug in this build.

 

Almost 24 hours since 15042 was released and not getting any yet so if a friendly friend here have 15042 esd Danish win enterprise x64 insider please share it with me.

 

Downloaded 15042 AiO x64 en-US UUP folder, converted Pro to ISO and upgraded in VM with no issues. Works fine. Thanks.

 

same still have control panel and i dont use any start menu replacement junk

 

Agreed. Default Start Menu is just way too good to replace.

 

It's happening to me too, you're not alone.

EDIT: FB Hub is OK for me.
