    @ Enthousiast: What is this checksum tool you use? Wouldn't mind comparing it to HashTab.

    7zip method great to get checksum(s) of a file. But not as easy as HashTab when checking against a published checksum, you know how you can paste the published checksum into the HashTab dialog.

    Neat feature of 7zip though, just enable it in context menu settings. :good3:

    It's installed when i install 7zip.

    I just look at both hashes to check them ;):D

    Do any of you know how to bring back the old display control panel window? Yet again Microsoft has taken way abilities for more customization options.

    Or you could bring it to the desktop like this:

    Settings -> Personalization -> Themes -> Related Settings -> Desktop icon settings .. Check "Control Panel", Apply and OK.
    You could also check "Computer" to bring "This PC" to the desktop.

    if you mean the classic control panel option like in 7/8 then your out of luck...they keep pushing the settings app as the new cpl, it's obvious they are trying to make windows for casuals now but the old cpl stuff was a lot better.

    H'mm well I created a control panel icon on desktop quite a few builds back and it still works.

    Starting with Window 10 build 15042. Microsoft has removed the ability to launch the classic Control panel applets related to Personalization.
