If you want stability you should stay far away from beta-testing Win10 in the Insiders program... That said, I have very little problems with Win10 insiders builds...I can't think of anything that would make me want to devolve 10-15 years to the Mac OS X environment--Macs seem stable because the hardware and software base is so limited compared to the Windows environment. That said, I have no instability to speak of in Win10 Insiders builds--which became stable enough for me to replace Win7/8 with Win10 Insiders builds early in spring 2015...and ever since. A lot of "instability" with laptops, for instance, comes not with Win10 but with less-than-tier-1 hardware device makers--who don't like updating drivers for new OS versions... That's why I own nothing but desktops and buy nothing except tier-1, grade-A hardware (whatever that is--but you know what I mean)... Apple is the king of disposable systems--doesn't like upgrading older ones, etc. But to each his own...! Enjoy your computing, whatever form it takes...!
I was finally able to download Windows 10 Pro x64 after several attempts. I was able to do so using the Edge Browser. Neither Firefox nor Chrome helped. The download was slow and finally aborted.
You should use free download manager or internet download manager. Those makes downloads faster. To me using browsers for downloading is always slow.
No software makes a download faster then the max internetspeed of the connection. What download is cyberboss talking about? Cloud.ru, sendit.cloud or direct turl download?
The jump from 15048 to 15055 is "much ado about nothing". In my view, 15048 gives better video performance. There may however be some under the hood improvements; but I have failed to see them . . . at least not yet! BTW the way, is there a fix for the "greyed-out" slow ring? My insider builds are stuck in slow ring and now amount of registry tweaking has helped.
The last few days i have several 15042 and later windows sku's installed (in severall languages), signed in at the insider app and i was always able to select the Fast ring in all languages.
If you are having this issue when signed in with your MSA then you would have to go to Windows Insider Program section of Settings and click on 'Get Help' for possible help. If not, you need to sign in with your MSA Insider account.
My mistake then. I never have problems with those links and I always get faster download speed from url direct download.
Does anybody know how to delete the file ""first_one’s_free_unearned_small"" what is left in UUP folder after convert to iso??. Thanks in advanced
Looks like it comes from Microsoft Solitaire app, why not just delete the whole UUP decrypter folder and download it again, it's only a few MB
