Their not going to too First, it's not 10560, it's 15060, lol Second, what Enth offered was what you download post #46, use 7zip to open then convert UUP to ISO , I did it in post #54
Have to report again, a no-problem WU upgrade install from 15058 to 15060. So nice to be able to say that...
In order to convert UUP to ESD, what build of Win 10 do i need to be on? Do i Need a RS2 beta build or is 14393 also good?
60 is back to same ol sh.. preventing norton from running/installing, so crappy defender can run loading outdated drivers etc 1 step forward with 58 10 steps back with 60
So I assume I cannot create a bootable ISO from a UUP? I'm currently on 15055 and want to clean install 15060. I tried using UUP to ISO but it doesn't seem to create an ISO capable of performing a clean install (Missing Setup.exe for example) and when booted from the resulting ISO (via USB+Rufus) it acts as a repair-disk rather than an install. Am I doing something wrong or are clean installs just flat out impossible using UUPs (or ISOs created from them)?
You have done something wrong somewhere, if all goes well the iso's can install from boot or used for upgrade.
UUPs can happily be decrypted into bootable ISOs for clean installs, that what we decrypt them for What was your process to get the UUP files and decrypt them? Post step by step what you did, version numbers of decrypters too
So what is the point of changing from esd to uup? i thought it was a delta that built the esd using the live window system files?
Here is my process: Download the UUPs (Amd64_en-us.zip) from the first post of this thread. Download and Install UUP-to-ISO (in default location) from TenForums tutorial (can't paste links) Launch UUPtoISO.exe, paste in the path to the extracted files from AMD64_en-us.zip I am presented with the following list: I choose 8 (The version I would like) I am presented with the following choices: I choose 1 - Create ISO with Standard install.wim I wait for it to finish executing. The resulting ISO (15060.0.170314-1527.RS2_RELEASE_CLIENTENTERPRISEN_VOL_X64FRE_EN-US.iso) is located alongside the UUPtoISO executable. I start Rufus, select the ISO as the image and create a bootable USB using my 128GB Corsair GS (Format Extended Fat32, GPT for UEFI) I boot to the Flash Drive and am presented with options to repair my PC rather than installation. Should I try recreating the ISO?
