Here I am trying to leave work early on a Friday afternoon, and first time ever Wzor has combined EN and RU into the same zip files so I now have to wait for 20GB to download instead of 15. For each architecture, one file for non-language-specific, one for EN and one for RU would probably work better than making everyone get at least one language they don't need.
Sorry if this has been asked before, but how can I get canonical UUP's files? I let the install preparation proceed (restart now button appears on Windows Update page) and now the SoftwareDistribution\Download folder contains one sub-folder and it weights 5.02GB. Is that I did something wrong or? Thanks so much!
Hi there, With the new Delta UUP files, I can't see any folder except "Metadata" @Enthousiast Do I need to use folders from an older build or from another language of this build? Thanks
Hope we can find a way to get the canonical UUP's files. Usually I will capture the x86 Pro ESD during update and download the x64 one shared by others, very clean and convenient! I really miss the good old days with ESDs, MS should provide them on each build alongside with UUP.
Now, this is not a big update so we know that there is more to come. At least it fixed the reg key hiccup. Ain't draining bandwidth a blast?
For sure. I guess, Creators Update will be one of the baddest (if not the worst) upgrades of Windows 10. Usually they have to release it along with the cumulative update, that should exist before update. But they didn't have enough time to fix miscellaneous errors. It's 18.03.2017 guys, and they didn't even know release candidate build! Very little time left for creating CU and i think they will not to make it in time -> no CU until May. That's what I want to say, basically. The probability is very high.
Anniversary Update was slightly delayed because a lot of problems, and the final build there was garbage and introduced a lot of problems. I wouldn't mind if they delayed creators update and wont rush it.
