The final version needs to be created this month for stay in 1703. If not, they need to change it to 1704
WZor say the next day MS can use for signing off is the 21st, so if that is true they're still on track for March
They don't need to change it. It would be convenient, but they don't have to. I think the anniversary update was released 2nd of August but it's still known as 1607. (Insiders did get it in July so maybe that's why.)
No they don't. Even IF the Creators Update would only be signed-off in April, it isn't as if Windows will act like "well hold on, it is April and I'm still set to March 2017". This is just a number. Besides, much of the documentation of the Creators Update is already online, all talking about "version 1703". They aren't going to change that, no matter what happens.
just q. where is option boot to desktop on version 1607 ? i want boot direct to desktop so i don want this startup screen with user and picture i have no set any password just normal administrator accout thanks friends
Well this build has at least one bug as I used file explorer to view my jpg photos (in windows viewer) and it crashed
Just used file explorer to view some jpg on my PC on this build and I did EDIT NOT have any crashing. Not directed at you but seriously people need to look at that own personal set up both hard ware and software to try and determine where an issue is coming from. Yes issues could be cause it is an Insider Build...nuff said on that, or it could be hard ware configuration, software and so on...it is no longer enough to just simply blame MS and Windows 10 for every issue and problem up to and including war and world hunger.
