OK the first game I tested was Need for Speed. I didnt even install 15060 I dont even know where to get that I just do the fast ring. No I was wrong in Counter Strike Go the movement was allot faster like 10 to 20% and smooth as butter Ive never seen it that smooth the menus seem about the same as 15055 but cleaner and smoother now. Need for speed the steering seemed 10%(likely the wireframes need more than that in speed to achieve 10% greater steering ease feel) faster cleaner easier less fighting the wheel(joystick) more ease in drifting corners. Likely this is some kind of kernel(or dll/kernel module/dx) tweak because the wireframes are processor driven its the graphics that are gpu driven and even tho the system feels smoother likely its not the graphics which is largely driver driven tho of course the os its binaries and the gpu are the engine of everything and their smoothness and speed shows up and adds up everywhere this feels more like that like a minor cpu speed upgrade like a small overclock but this is obviously a code tweak. In game movement is allot faster and super smooth I dont know if it was some directx component or the kernel but its definitely noticable I think most would be hardpressed to call it placebo if I had 3 identical systems 150XX vs 15055 vs 15061. Yeah it just seems cleaner and maybe a smidge slower in the os and menus but in in game speed wireframe manipulation(char speed) is where I can feel the gains. You know I just had another thought the perception of it being slower may be due to how smooth it is noticing the programs look like they close fast. Like Jorge Lorenzo hes so fast and smooth on a motorcycle it looks slow but by his laptimes thats not true. Maybe the smoothness gives the impression of taking longer.
One thing that has to happen for Creator's Update Final is that all devices have to sync up on same build number. Both PC and X-Box are on 15062, They have not released a Mobile build so don't know the build number for Mobile. Not saying 15062 is final
2 more, 2nd will be RTM. If 1st one has no timebomb and watermark, don't be fooled, too much time left, unless they trick us all and release on 31 March
Seems good analogy and besides 10158, 10159 were delivered the same day during two, as I remember, hours. Very likely 15060, 15061 being issued at less then 24-hours interval.
Well at least they are working on RS3 before the release of creators update and not after release like RS1-RS2 lol.
@donasarkar 2m2 minutes ago #WindowsInsiders : we're waiting on a few more test results and will have an update on builds later today.
But look at your first image. Slow is selected but hidden. Would be possible that it searches for updates on that ring although you aren't logged in? It can be maybe a default option
Never happened before, i always first run WU before signing in, never got a new build offered before signing in. But later today hopefully there will be a new one
