    Control panel keeps crashing after a few seconds. Every time launch it. Anyone else getting this?

    So the known issue related to Windows Update crashing when opening seems to be a problem if you want to upgrade past this build...

    "Opening Windows Update might crash the settings app"

    How can I restore to previous Insider build when I can't open control panel? Checked System restore but no restorepoint prior to update.

    How did you upgrade to 16188 ? By Windows Update or by ISO ? What build were you on before ? Do you have ISO for that build ?

    Check "settings" > "update & security" and "restore", if the folder "c:\windows.old" still is untouched, you should be able to revert to 16184.

    Will 16188 be the build MSFT uses next week for Build 2017 ?

    I have a problem with this build in that MY RADAR on my desktop does not respond like two builds ago. This build and the previous build is extremely sluggish in responding to my mouse when trying to move the map around..

    NO crashes so far, so a lot better than previous.
