ADWcleaner (For the first time.. ever) caused the Windows Anti Virus (Yes. I prefer to use Windows Defender) service to shut down.. ... in the end managed to get it up and running again by locating the registry entry 'DisableAntiSpyware' and resetting its value to 0.
