One would expect Microsoft to forestall the update issue before releasing this Build. It is clear the Windows 10 developer team doesn't take the Insiders serious and that is sad though.
Everything is fine... just rebooted to the update window... took 1.5h to finish installing .. next time I will take UUP files right after it finish downloading the update and upgrade windows manually..
It is not about downloading . The downloading part takes 3-5 minutes . The installation part before rebooting to apply the update took 1.5h . It was stuck on 66% then on 75% and on 97% ..
It runs in 4 stages, first it's downloading, next it's installing (creating the express UUP folders) and downloading again (filling the created express UUP folders) and next it installs for real.
Finally installed 16232. Stuck in 16199 for a while and failed many times to upgrade to 16215 and 16226. Now I have an annoying out of battery icon on the taskbar. Seems it treats the desktop as a mobile device...
Tried to install 16232 with no success. I got the error 0x80070643. I think this error is related to NVidia Surround. Since 16215 I'm not able to install any build. Still stuck at 16199.
finally they fixed the issue with ctfmon.exe but the bug with OpenGL apps not showing image is still present :/
I have only installed on my work laptop and not on my gaming rig yet but so far downloading games on steam make it crashes a few times (process disappears with no warning).... maybe its steam's fault
My notebook have run half of the your time but for the second time percents 75, 76, 77, 97 have got most part of the Install step duration before 1st reboot. The same was when updating 16215->16226.
