This build takes more time booting than the others. I needed to wait 1 minute in a Wait screen before the Welcome screen
For your splash screen to delay during booting would have something to do with your BIOS. My advice to you would be to check the BIOS if you are having the latest version.
Mine about 10 seconds. Just had a green screen of death. While office 2016 was finding it-self. Clicked on outlook 2016 to check my mail. Flash screen came up that it needed to install something then restart. So I restarted, then green screen of death.
When your BIOS is up to date and you are having delay then there is something wrong somewhere with the OS that is causing the booting to delay at the splash screen. You can try to reduce the booting time at the system configuration, stop some programs at startup and see if there is any change.
My BIOS is up to date. The system runs great, the OS is fast and is running on a 120GB SSD. It just slow start up compared to other builds.
Okay. Have you checked what you have on your startup or have you used the Event View to narrow down the culprits? Perhaps there are bunches of file trying to load up during startup. Who knows?
