    my box is not that old and WU have been taking for ever to d\l...why u guys even surprise is MS...this happens all the time.

    rs3 release or rs prerelease any difference in these?

    Took me about 15-18 minutes to download through WU
    All seem to be working very good

    i have 25 MB and took WU like 2 hours and after install it crasho_O

    Curious, how old is not so old? I have old test box for win10. It's c2d, 4GB ddr2... urs?

    If you go with rs_prerelease you would have to do a clean install to get to rs3_release

    Has anyone found a way to stop Windows 10 for automatically downloading & installing default apps. Since Build 16251 this method HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\WindowsStore] "AutoDownload"=dword:00000002 doesn't work any more. After few minutes uninstalling the default apps it gets installed again.

    I downloaded UUP files from Enthousiast and did a upgrade and all went well for me. Total of 30 minutes including downloading.

    The mirror one link downloads the correct file, but the mirror two link for me downloads at twice the intended size and doesn't unpack correctly.

    That's not the problem, when installed via WU, sometimes and on some PCs it takes too long in "installing", after clicking "restart" is very fast, but before is very slow (in some PCs).

    damned slow again ! glad to have optical fiber ISP with 950 mb/s bandwidth

    Lucky you having a 950mbps. Here in Australia the fastest is 100mbps.
