I think, that they will eventually skip Skip-Ahead, because it is a nonsense. They are focusing on RTM, so they have no time for RS4. RS4 is only used to transfer left out features from RS3.
For some strange reason after this update I don't have store, xbox, mail, photos, or anything like that on the start menu. How would one get them back
The parts can't be extracted separately, download all parts to the same dir and rightclick the first and select: "extract here".
We are not there yet. Still has expiration date and watermark. When we get to RTM escrow both should disappear.
All the builds since 16257 have been stable as a rock for me...installing '78 now...the only bug I've seen so far has been present in the last three builds prior to this one (16278): shortcuts on my desktop simply no longer remember their place after resolution changes or reboots( I use "Desktop OK" to remember my desktop shortcut placement preferences)--hope it's fixed in '78! If not, this will be the *fourth* time I've given Microsoft feedback on the issue without it being addressed. Also, I can't remember the last time I've had to first build an iso in order to properly install a new build. Win Update installs have been working for me without difficulty for many builds now--which I'm glad to see!
This one 'S' version was a pita. 1st DL >Install before restart gave me a Recovery button After a restart of the VM the install completed & I hit the desktop. After my 2nd DL>Install before restart I got the attached thanks.
I downloaded Parts 1,2 and 4 from nofile and they maxed out my 50 Mbps connection. Then for part 3, I use sendit and it was laughable 0.02 Mbps downloadspeed. Racaty was ok with 5 Mbps speed. I request you not to use sendit. It's the most pathetic file host. Till now, I have had no issues with nofile. Only this time there was an odd issue of part3 being 2 gb. Please continue using nofile. Ultra huge request. I couldn't thank you enough for your services to mdl community.
