Doesn't work, I get a error message: "The folder you specified doesn't contain a compatible software driver for your device. If the folder contains a driver, make sure it is designed to work with Windows for x64-based systems." It's weird that it wanted to install first time but made windows crash in the middle of the installation but now it shows that the driver is not compatible with my hardware (GTX 1070).
I'm using Version. 16362 soooo much more responsive. its about time MS. maybe you can keep it this way? gonna try some gaming now and see what happens
Liking the new Nvidia drivers. First time I am finally able to grab a tile on the Start Menu and it starts moving instantly, whereas before when I grabbed, there was always a brief pause before the mouse was able to move it around. Now it has the same behavior as using Intel HD Graphics, cannot comment on ATI Radeon as I haven't used one since Windows 7. What are you seeing significant improvements in? Any improvements that stray from the "negligible to noticeable" norm are generally a sign that you fixed what was broken in your old install. What are your specs and clocks, and can you run some synthetic benchmarks (Aida64 Cache/Mem | 3DMark | Cinebench) to get a good baseline on where you should be versus where you land?
As names imply . Main files in one and the edition specific files in the other. You'll need both folders!!
Not true, I got it on the 1503.608 build, just joined the "first base" Insider program: "Just fixes, apps, and drivers" content.
