But surely we can come up with a workaround to prevent it. I tried the "Turn off hybrid sleep" policy before upgrade, but it didn't do it. The only other thing I can think of is creating a dummy hiberfil.sys with some wicked permissions, but I'm not sure if such permissions exist in an upgrade scenario (which should be all-powerful). Or doing that could botch the upgrade if the installer becomes confused. Then again, it might just work.

OK. I made the Iso with UUPDecripter of Adguard. One other Iso, made with uup-converter-wimlib-13.7z give a different SHA1. I'll install it on VM ad test with SFC /SCANNOW.
I hope it is not necessary: I've gone through all the builds since 9841 and remember the same situation happend once and then fixed at a stable build.
Tempting, but I'll just stick with the Fast Lane, for now... Always before the official commercial release they hit us with umpteen million (not really!) builds--which is somewhat annoying in itself--as I like to have a little time in between builds to test things out...
Hehehe...I am not planning on retiring from participating in Skip-Ahead Build yet - not because I can now cope with the slow pace of Build release but for unintentionally joining that particular Build program. Meanwhile, I am not saying you think otherwise. Anybody can easily get accustomed to the time between Build releases in the Skip-Ahead IP and it is pretty recommendable while looking at the past several days without a Build..
