sometimes when I start the pc I end up with a black screen and only a working white mouse cursor. I have to shut down via the case power button, then everything goes well
Can't install Nvidia drivers on this build, the only ones that worked at first were the 387.92 that came with WU. If I try, the NV Installer fails and I revert to the basic windows ones. I also lose my GPU's in Task Manager and in Device Manager they appear as "Video Controller (VGA Compatible)". Rolling back Builds does exactly the same but at least the 387.92 drivers that came with the initial update work. First time I've had this. Edit: Updated to 17017 again and same problem, all looks Okay until I try to update the NV driver then bam! GPU's disappear/show as unidentified and I'm stuck. EVGA 780ti SLI
Thanks for the reply MS_User but that didn't work either. The Nv Installer itself just fails and WU detects that I have no display driver installed so tries to install but times out every time. Looks like I'll just roll back to the previous build, then upgrade to 17017 again with it installing 387.92 until the next build. I've probably brought this on myself with so many build upgrades and not using fresh installs like I used to.
if the upgrade goes with out any issue stick with it. no need for a clean install each time a new build is release for testing.
Just upgraded to 17017 again with 387.92 coming along with it. All went fine so I'll just stay on this WU driver until the next build. Thanks for the help guys, I'll also see what they are saying about the VBIOS since mine both have the Skyn3t ones.
use UUP dump to download , rename.bat does not work use UUPDL 0.10.11 or later to download, get error. till now , i still can not get the build .
