f**k, I cannit resolve the wifi problem, it connects to the network but windows says the dns is not responding, I have tried with alternative dns and disabling dhcp but nothing, anyone have that issue?
Did you try turning off 'secure boot' or 'rapid storage premium'? I have Strix mb and had this issue,,, after turning 'rapid storage' feature off, it worked. I also get GSOD when installing Intel MEI drivers but it works fine if I install driver manually through Device Manager,,, :\ About WIFI issue, try using reset network in Setting menu (or reinstalling\updating drivers)
Secure boot option in bios. I have rapid storage feature in Bios menu, don't know if you have it also ... on what stage when installing do you have this GSOD? When you finish installing and it boots to windows first time? because I also have this GSOD after installing and booting the first time but on second boot I don't get GSOD and it works fine,,, If you booted first time after install and had GSOD but the second time it booted fine-don't worry, reinstall Video card drivers and Rapid Storage software (this is what I do).
ok, the wifi problem if someone has it, is is fixed disabling the real time protection in windows defender xD, don´t know why if it is not related...
I had successfully install build 17063 after 40 plus of retries. HAHAHAHA What I did was, I disable Visualization in BIOS settings. By the way, I use the the 17063 ISO file created from UUPtoISO using the the file downloaded in C:/Windows/SoftwareDistribution/Downloads/"and the folder containing the necessary file for creating ISO"
Having trouble installing Windows Media player either through add features or dism. Getting an error "The name of the file cannot be resolved by the system Error code: 0x80070781" NVM apparently this was caused by some bad symbolic links in the media player folder. Just deleted them and the add features option worked fine. Leaving comment up in case anybody else has this issue.
