Right (Microsoft provides only Core and Professional UUPs). I'm using Enterprise Insider Preview, but Windows Update doesn't download a necessary uup file (Enterprise_en-us.esd), so updating to 17063 is impossible so far. I guess Microsoft has it, so I wonder there's a way to download this file....then I could build iso file. I posted in Microsoft support, but no progress. Any idea?
uhm I mentioned it a minute ago in feedback hub. It would be useful if you go there and up-vote the feedback... who knows maybe they read it
After 5 GSODs at my Thinkpad P51, Intel Core i7-7700HQ, 2.8 Ghz, DDR4-2400-32Gb, I've ported this system to my 2nd, old Thinkpad R500 and without any problem have upgraded 17046->17063. Then ported upgraded system backward, merged with DISM driver packages from 16299 and successfully booted 17063. In my case it appeared that fingerprint scanner driver from 17046 is INCOMPATIBLE with 17063 as an attempt to install this driver results in GSOD. But this is MY case for MY hardware and a real code producing GSODs - is deep inside nucleous.
anyone having problems with the wi-fi? It was working in previous build and now it hangs in does not enconter the dns.?
The sound bug in Firefox seems to be fixed ,at least for me on Firefox nightly build. (Fixed after an update)
@SAM-R thanks for the link I just reported my problem there. But apparently Microsoft doesn't care, yet no reaction from MS
Using the uup-converter 14.7 linked in the top post, I consistently get this when making Core (and I re-downloaded to ensure the uups were good). I've made these in prior builds but have never encountered this before. ============================================================ Creating install.wim . . . ============================================================ [ERROR] "\Windows\WinSxS\wow64_microsoft-windows-mediaplayer-core_31bf3856ad364e35_10.0.17063.1000_none_561e9b8c6925ef35\wmp.dll": blob not found SHA-1 message digest of missing blob: 2428b40ea7223c6ca06881f5386b4569aa2ec693 ERROR: If this is a delta WIM, use the --ref argument to specify the WIM(s) on which it is based. Make sure you use at least v0.11.13 of UUPDL, the Dump API was changed for 17063 builds. If any ERRors appear in the hashcheck at the end of the download, repeat the download. Just tested 17063 Core en-us download/conversion successfully. I was using an older version, but tried the one that reads (in the title bar): "s1ave77s S-M-R-T M50 UUPDL v0.11.20," which I think is the latest, and repeated the DL. Same problem though later with the conversion. Is that the version you used?
