Installed this build last night and everything was working fine. Wake up this morning and turn computer on and Windows will not load. Once it tries to move past the BIOS screen it immediately reboots. Tried several old Windows 10 bootable DVDs to try and fix the problem through system repair. The system would not load the DVDs. Downloaded a brand new ISO file from MS and burned to DVD and the system still says to insert proper media and reboot. I originally tried to burn the ISO to a flash drive, but that failed and now the flash drive won't work. Says it cannot be formatted. So frustrating trying to figure all that out before heading to work. Any idea how I can get back up and running?
I am using this "uup-converter-wimlib-14" to make an ISO and it keeps error out with missing files, used Mini server to download UUP
My advice on this kind of problems is to download the Windows 10 files one by one from the UUP dump and compare them the same way and make sure everything is correctly the same. Use Rufus to create a USB as a non-EUFI. Next thing is change to legacy at the BIOS and use it to do the installation.
What has the usb creation tool to do with this? The install was working fine and suddenly it didn't work anymore after he started it up the next day.
With all due respect I am only proffering a solution. USB creation tool is not the argument of my post either. However, he tried to create a USB from an ISO he downloaded that failed. I have noticed one thing with recent Builds after the 'Meltdown and Spectre' report there is this weird issue of failing installation(from creating ISO to installation). Previously, I could not even do installation on a EUFI system until I reverted to legacy despite using EUFI all along on that same computer.
It might not be system failure but Windows'. I thought the same thing was wrong with mine until I reverted to legacy. There is really a problem with recent Windows 10 Builds.
You need API 1.9.1 to get correct download https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/uup-dump.75052/page-84 #1662
