I think it means that insiders will get the first hand on the so called RTM build before sign off after that it will be available for factory compagnies and after that for the crowd
if I install this build then when RTM & final RS4 production build will come out, I'll get those via WU I guess so that this build become a normal stable build with one or two weeks?
I have downloaded the uup files but it appears that when converting to iso there seems no way to get enterprise or education version can this be done via the uup files & if so how I wish to install enterprise on my test machine but unable to create iso for it Is enterprise being drop excuse my lack of knowledge just wonder what was going on being in my 70s I would need some advice I have Windows 10 enterprise on my main pc with genuine key so wish to test on my spare laptop to see what changes are being made Ps will I still get the new build offer via windows updates when release or is enterprise been remove
Since 17063, only Pro and Home are distributed as real editions all other editions including Enterprise are virtual you need to use DISM to convert offline image to Enterprise or just use product key to switch Pro to Enterprise after installation if you are upgrading from Enterprise, setup would perform the switch i presume
Interesting - disabling telemetry prevents you from getting Insider Preview builds. You get the message "Your diagnostic and usage data settings require attention to get Insider Preview Builds." with the option to FIX IT.
They are set by the insider app to the highest level, what would you expect from beta builds published to collect data to be able to create an official release with as less bugs as possible.
Well it's irritating, and I don't know all the details it sends. So, since things are stable where they're at, I'll just wait for the official final ISO release

Known issues [ADDED 3/14] On PCs with Dolby Access app installed and expired Dolby Atmos, the Windows Audio service (audiosrv) crashes with a stack overflow exception and the PC won’t have sound. A workaround is to uninstall the Dolby Access app to get sound back.
