Yeah, having this every 6 month gets really boring. Just waiting for the moment the RTM is out and the ones who will strictly deny this being RTM to show up .
As great as the possibility the next build will have watermark/timebomb (like hinted by MS in the message that was shipped with this build).
When someone quotes tweets or articles from some pages here, some say that if it is not an official Microsoft source they don't believe it, is there an official source that confirms that? or is it simply an opinion?
MS never confirmed a RTM prior to GA. So all are more or less sophisticated guesses . When a build is flighted there will be signs...
But the first compiled build of RS4 was the 16350, Microsoft could easily have released the build 16300, 16302 etc. as RTM without any problem, IMHO what you mention was not the reason to choose the build 16299.15 as RTM, but it's just my opinion.
Logically, one would think so. I do however belive that certain range of numbers, builds, are reserved. That's where they screwed up with RS3 and couldn't do anything else then raise the delta.
Yes, but they are only opinions and guesses, I have searched for articles or tweets where someone from Microsoft says something about that, but I have not found any, I know that Microsoft or its employees will never talk about it, that's why I say that they are only opinions and guesses.
WOW let me guess: this version is going to be even more crappier than before. New things: 1. More metro kiddy apps 2. more telemetry 3. small here and there lets move this layout component and lets experiment more. In fact there is no stable build, soon after the release there are gonna be a bunch of users having problems and microsoft will always release their try to fix updates. In fact they fix smth and ruin smth else.
