There is WinSetupFromUSB-1-8 which also allows to do that, that is, it splits automatically to several files when it comes to make bootable usb for iso that is larger than 4 GB which is practical as it avoids to do extra work to be able to boot from USB drive on UEFI.
Has anyone figured out a solution to the problem of bootloop in cases where fastboot and hibernation are enabled? This started in 17094 and is present in this build too. I clean installed both the builds. I need hibernation, not concerned with fastboot.
I had the same problem here! You can get around it tho by going to a command prompt ... navigating to the USB drive and then run setup from there .. it worked for me anyway!
I have this build installed can someone let me know what version they show in the about section of setting. Mine shows 1709 but build number 17604.1000 I though it was version 180x
It's a really early rs5 prerelease, still from the 1709 range, when 1803 gets official the buildnr of rs5 will change eventually.
By enabling Windows 10 S Mode, your device is more secure because code integrity prohibits non Microsoft approved binaries from running, which includes unauthorized drivers, software, extensions, etc, plus, currently, S mode isn't officially available for preview unless you upgrade to insider builds from Windows 10 S, in which case, you'll use "Windows 10 Pro Insider Preview in S mode", which is why i posted that, because that allows you to also use Windows 10 Home Insider Preview in S mode, along with Enterprise, etc
MSFT was (or still is) offering to upgrade to Pro for free in the store, on the current Cloud and Cloud N installs.
Windows 10 in S mode is not a separate SKU, however, NT treats it as one when it comes to branding, more importantly, if you're using Windows 10 Home in S mode, you'll be able to disable S mode from the Microsoft Store for free when it's available. Presumably, you'll also be able to enable it for free as well from any edition, though, you might have to factory reset from what i can gather.
