Sorted - it's MS being really really stupid … There's now a Settings > App permissions > Choose which apps can access ... your Email / your Calendar etc. And the default settings are that the Mail app cannot access Email or Calendar !
For anyone else who has Kaspersky Total Security 2018 installed you may have to wait for a fix either from MS or Kaspersky as installing this update causes a kmode unhandled exception at boot time (klbackupdisk.sys is the culprit). I've rolled back to the previous Win10 build for now.
since 2014 Microsoft told us to avoid using third part AV in Windows 10 Insider Builds, due the kernel changes could not be compatible with AV kerner modules.
Nope - this was a clean install - so I got the defaults When I added (other) accounts, the mail app did not prompt me to un-block the app - it simply repeatedly asked for permission (and eventually "gave up" asking) Same happened on my PC, an also on my laptop
@nechrist I've added a screenshot to my previous post showing where it lives in the offchance it'll help other people.
Thank you, that enabled Sets for me. Explorer tabs are nice, but there is no way to save sets yet, and Windows doesn't automatically save like its supported to.
Edge bug continues as u can see I put the smiley face at the end of the sentence, but it keeps appearing in the front of the sentence.
No sets for me. I'm in the insider program and even tried the registry trick, no sets and no option in settings either. Any idea?
