I've seen one complaint about this problem at Russian PCPORTAL.ORG.RU. I've verified at my system and haven't detected any problem - package was installed.
Hi folks, I did a clean installation of Windows 10 Preview (Insider Preview) Pro X64 Compilation RS5 (10.0.17639 rs prerelease 180330-630), I activated it with KMSPico, I verified my Microsoft account, already enabled to receive Preview builds (I was receiving RS4 builds 'till I did not get an RS5 since my RS4s never allowed me to choose Skip Ahead) but now in Configuration / Windows Insider Program I am informed that another administrator (who?) that it's not me has configured my device to receive correctly new builds and I can't take over the control even if theorically it's allowed to do so. Actually this version is installed for Personal use, configured with my Microsoft account enabled for the Insider Preview builds, but for the very first time I'm not able to choose and see what builds I will receive. When I use Windows Update I'm informed that I've to amend my MS account before to receive new builds and it's open the "take control" frame. I'd like to solve the bug in order to receive updates for the RS5 (five) branch so I'm askin' for any kind of help for that otherwise the only way out it will be to still download via your forum future RS5 builds and update avery installed build manually by DVD or USB. I thank in advance whoever gives me a real help. Greetings. John
Looks like it's setup as an insider, then you are not in control but the insider program is, if you don't want to have it setup as an insider don't use your insider sign in.
Hi, I wanna use my Windows Build as an Insider but with the RS 5 Branch (Skip Ahead) coz till now I've not been allowed to go further than RS 4 Branch, and I'd like to be sure to be able to receive future RS 5 builds (in other words I'd like to stay with RS 5 bulds). My MS account is already enrolled, since Windows 10 came out, in the Windows Insider Program, and I dont remember to have been asked to choose on that site what Branch Id like to receive: usually its the Windows builds which asks for it, but everytime I tried to choose "Skip ahead" it didnt worked out, so I decided to do it manually, and now Im "crashing" with this behaviour. Dont know if its normal or what. Regards. P.S. I signed off from Windows Insider, not from Windows itself. Will I receive future RS 5 builds through the Windows Insider Program or not?
