    Well, I even tried putting in the correct registry edits for the .Net, but still it won't work. Sorry.

    In programs and features, turn windows features on and off, there is no setting for 3.5.

    My 17650.1001 has a setting there for it as follows -
    .NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0)
    Windows Communication Foundation HTTP Actvation
    Windows Communication Foundation Non-HTTP Actvation

    Only the ".NET Framework 3.5" item is selected.
    Mine is an upgraded PfW 17134.1 that had .NET Framework 3.5 installed.
