The setting for changing print screen to use snipping tool instead doesn't seem to do anything for me. Print Screen still takes a regular print screen instead of launching snipping tool even after activating the option for it to use snipping instead.
I was in Fast ring (17134.1) and yesterday Windows Update downloaded this update. Installed but never being able to boot, giving GSOD every time. I created a bootable USB disk with Rufus, but it only give me Choose your keyboard layout and not the normal Windows installation screens. Any help please?
What are these baseless package in UUP files? Like baseless_Microsoft-Windows-LanguageFeatures-Basic-lang-Package-amd64.cab and baseless_amd64fre_Client_lang_lp.cab
My explorer.exe keeps restarting it self over and over.. I know there is a known bug that some windows 10 notifications might crash explorer.exe so I disabled all notifications and it still keeps happening... It happens like every 30 seconds or so. Impossible to use.
Greetings from Lima, Peru !!! Having problems trying to update VM running Skip Ahead 17655.1 to 17661.1001 and Windows Update is stuck at "Preparing to Install - 100%", together with ten more updates for MS Office 2016 "Pending Install". Have tried running the Update Troubleshooter several times (both the internal version and the downloadable one) with no luck. Also tried deleting folder SoftwareDistribution which downloaded the same updates from scratch once more and once again it gets stuck at "Preparing to Install - 100%". Any suggestions before I try a clean install? Thanks in advance, JCC2
I think if you running beta build on vm, it's better to do clean install. It's faster. This is my opinion.
Mine did the same thing using WU for my install Check my post on page 2 of this thread for what I did/had to go through to get mine updated.
Until now I realize this change: Spoiler I'm not sure if it was done in this build or in a previous one, I'll try to check it... Edit: I already checked, that change was made in this build: Spoiler: Tile view in the file explorer
After some attempts on two notebooks with the same problem, I've downloaded UUP-files using UUPDL, created an ISO and upgraded systems from ISO. Hope in the next RS5 build this issue will be fixed. BTW: MS have seriously changed Setup code and logic in 17661 and for sure an issue is a result of those changes.
