Thanks for your reply. I think i have no other issues adn this build is pretty solid ( except for me & the Settings app ) And I cannot even go back to the previous 18290 build due to me not getting into settings... Cheers D
You can run this in an elevated cmd: Code: reagentc.exe /boottore Now reboot and you will be able to go to "troubleshoot" > "Advanced options" > "Go back to the previous version".
Yeap... the first thing I noticed.... to make it work, you need to click on properties (on equaliezer apo's exe) and change compatibility to Windows 8 and it will work. MS changed some stuff..
If anyone runs into the same problem of getting stuck in a bootloop like myself and @Jhonn when trying to install this build, I offer a way to get unstuck. The instructions below are for GPT installations not MBR. Boot into WinPE (IE: An ISO of an older build) Select the repair option and go to troubleshooting and select command prompt Now that you are in a command prompt the following will fix your bootloop and allow the Windows installation to revert... >Diskpart >list volume Make note of the drive letter assigned to your system partition and the volume number for the EFI partition (the 100MB fat32 partition). On my system windows partition is C: and the EFI volume is 4. Substitute the correct parameters if yours differ. >select volume 4 >assign letter:U >exit >cd /d U: >ren EFI EFI_old >bcdboot C:\Windows /s U: /f UEFI Reboot your computer and the Windows upgrade will revert. Again, these instructions are for GPT installations.
Anyone has an issue when monitor goes to sleep, it doesn't wake up. The sound is there, but no signal showed on the screen, I tried with two panels actually.
So no fix for the "Launching games that use BattlEye anti-cheat will trigger a bug check (green screen) – we’re investigating." and the last working build 18282 timebomb runs out today.
