Launching games that use anti-cheat software may trigger a bugcheck (GSOD). Lmao. If it triggers GSOD and not BSOD, it's not final
32bit: Went to disable Windows Defender via GPO, and got a GSOD. Upon the forced reboot trying to go back into the group policy editor I get an error stating it failed to open due to "unspecified error". 64bit: Didn't get a GSOD in disabling Defender via GPO, but the setting is still ignored like in previous builds. 32bit: Trying to remove some Windows Optional features causes constant GSOD until you finally get a "Your PC couldn't start properly" This build is not even close to being able to be released to public IMHO.
To disable defender via group policy you must first disable the new tamper protection option. Then you can use the usual registry command: reg add "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows Defender" /v "DisableAntiSpyware" /t REG_DWORD /d "1" /f
Don't lose hope Insiders ... we are still young !! MicroFix will not stop the neverending saga of Windows 10 updates. The further they go, the worse Win10 is. Remember the good old times of Windows XP !!
Right but they changed the process so its could be that build .1 be rtm but with big profile bugs So it doesnt make sense anymore That why i said .xxx with cu is rtm
I would suggest all users, especially he-il users, to ditch start menu and use open shell latest official or beta, I use it in classic style like in windows xp, much more convenient and avoid any bugs from ms.
Bugs should be fixed and not move to another start menu. I like the Windows 10 start menu. Each version you get more features for the start menu.
lately the builds did not mess my patched macrium reflect app install, so less stuff to take care of upon upgrade, i presume this build is not "the one", is it?
