Absolutely not true. Just because sfc /scannow (totally useless operation IMHO) doesn't work doesn't mean it is crippled. So many people use that term loosely. One little bug and the whole OS is shot to hell. I am using 18947 xbox right now, and it is way far far away from crippled. In fact it runs quite well. I am on ProWS and even have Sandbox enabled. I also have Office 2019 installed, and activated. RSAT is present also. All in all, I am happy.
It may be faulty, but it ain't crippled! If it were crippled it wouldn't even boot. That being said I can live without that functionality. sfc /scannow is totally useless. The only reason it is included in a Windows package is for Microsoft MVPs to opt out of actually solving a problem. They always say "run sfc," just so they don't need to actually address the issue.
Unfortunately, I'm getting an activation error. Not sure why, but it's disabling the new start menu from even working, and it's, of course, disabling any personalization. Has anyone else had this issue? Or does anyone know what to do?
yea ive tried tablet mode and i'm pretty sure that's how the new start menu is supposed to react since it's going to be in windows lite.
