Tried that, still was giving an error on the file path, looks like it exceeds the 255 character limit. Turned on the LongPathsEnabled option in regedit and it works now.

    Thanks.

My WU install from b19845 after WU began, DL 2x & reinstalled 3x before completing.
Last WU (b19845) install took 40 minutes, this one took 65 minutes.

    Edit: SB b18945

Seriously 20 mins..... I am running a system with a threadripper 2950x and it took me 29mins (longest update ever)

    1st Phase 15 mins..
    2nd Phase 09 mins
    3rd Phase 02 mins
4th Phase 03 minutes, and I still had to re-install my graphics driver 3 minutes

    ...so to desktop 32 mins....

by the way OS drive samsung 512gb 2000/1800 R/W
    .. installation drive 2 samsung 512gb Raid 0 .... 3800/3400 R/W

... again 20mins... I am obviously doing some thing wrong

Does anyone know how to bring back the items on the left side of File Explorer when it starts??? I mean items such as disk drives, Quick Access, Network?

This build seems to have removed mine and I have looked and can't find how to restore that back.

I also had to reinstall the Windows Media Player as the DLNA streaming option. But since I have the above problem, it does not show up..

    TIA

    Bill

Maybe because I have 1GB\s internet connection so downloading takes 2 mins tops maybe less . I would say it took me 19 mins overall. Once I saw a new build I first posted here (20:01) then started downloading and installing, after upgrade was done and everything was up, I checked the exact time I had posted about a new build availability earlier, and posted on this thread (20:22) how much time it took me, was exactly 20 mins (21 mins - posting =20\19mins)

The speed of your internet connection has nothing to do with the ability of your hardware to update your system....
It takes me about 4 minutes to download the required files from UUP Dump. 13 minutes to create custom ISO and then the rest..... (29 mins).....

... just interested in your hardware

Yours is better. I have i7 7700K@5.1Ghz , Samsung 970 EVO PLUS 500GB NVME (which is one of the fastest) , 16GB ram @3100Mhz , Nvidia 1080GTX . I also closed the browser , maybe you had some workload during ISO preparation , maybe you have some devices which takes more time during the setup to install
