I don't care, Dona really was just the face to the public side of things, nothing is going to change really with the builds.

I haven't tried it yet, but I went into control panel in the power settings area and turned of 'fast boot', I'll see if that setting was preventing my system from shutting down properly.

I surely agree, what started out as just a
'slow' build to get installed...etc, has already proven to be what I call problematic. Hopefully, microsoft will issue one of their famous 'fixes'.

    Update:
After going into control panel/power options/define power buttons and turn on password protection area, I simply unchecked the 'Turn on fast startup' box, and now my computer's are acting normal again.

    Hi All,
So much for my 'remedy' as far as shutting down the computer properly, last night when I proceeded to shut down my computer got stuck on the blue 'shutting down' screen, I had to manually press the power button to get it to actually turn off. :-(

I have a fast startup disabled, but the system still can not shut down or reboot.

    Hi,
As I stated previously I thought I had at least a 'temporary' solution, it worked the first time I tried it but not any more. I'm seriously thinking about reverting to the previous build..I really don't want to.

That was too funny, when I mentioned going back to a previous build I wasn't talking about going back to a different operating system completely. :)

    Hi,
Unless I can get a handle on this shutdown issue, I'll be going back to the previous build. :(
