That's BS....Have not had anything but problems with this build to the point I went back to the last build and even sent MS a email about how s**tty this build is. This build no matter what you do it keeps installing the old AMD video driver even when you stop the hardware updater. Defender stops working when ever it wants to and you can not start it again until you restart Windows. Update stops working and errors out with error 0x80070424 (service stopped) so you have to go into services and restart the service. On my AMD Ryzen 3600X system it crashes all the time on its own, more so when over clocked but even when not over clocked it still does. On my Acer N5 laptop with Intel i5-8500U and 1650 NVIDIA It stops responding also the WiFi network just stops working for no reason (must reboot) to get it working again. So really no this build really really sucks.
The problem from 19587 is that Nas that do not have WS Discovery capabilities cannot be accessed by host name. There is no problem with access by IP address.
can the kb 1006 be integrated to an iso from the dump, and do you guys think the upgrade problem of recent builds is fixed finally?(rollback)
What is it with this build and the new patch build 19608.1006 that wants to keep installing the older AMD video drivers. I had the AMD driver right from AMD site installed and working perfectly. AMD driver build 20.2.2 and now after a restart it has gone back to 19.11.4
group policy to prevent win update driver installs?, also , the setting in advanced system properties/hardware, to prevent drivers and devices downloads.
I use windows update manager (wumt) which can hide individual updates and disable automatic updates . And another good solution is to use DDU which has a setting to prevent driver updates I can't paste links ( I guess its an Edge bug)
