Late-breaking additions: We fixed an issue causing some devices experiencing a KMODE_EXCEPTION bugcheck when using certain virtualization technologies. We fixed an issue causing devices running Malwarebytes Web Protection to no longer be able to connect to the network. We fixed an issue causing some devices to receive a DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL bugcheck on tcpip.sys.
From the blog post: Insiders will notice that some features like the updated emoji picker, redesigned touch keyboard, voice typing, theme-aware splash screens, and others have been removed temporarily. We look to bring these features back to Insiders in the future My guess would be that those will be added right back to the next builds from the rs_prerelease branch, and that we will start seeing the fe_release branch being prepared for the 21H1 release, since that would be the obvious result - also taking into account that we are seeing a build with a .1 at the end.
Not yet no, since it is still watermarked. Going from history (difficult in these times, I know), a few weeks and we should see the final 21H1 build (IIRC, 20H1 was released mid december 2019)
Why are you already expecting a release without watermark, november is not even started? ps, 20H1 was released to insiders Dec. 10. 2019
I'm not, just speculating on when we will see it. I might not have made that clear in my post though. It would indeed be way too early for them to release it now. What I'm trying to say is that I think the fact that they changed branch is not just testing their ability to release from another branch (they know how to do that, they have switched branches several times already), but a sign of them going into the bugfixing phase, and them considering 21H1 as feature complete.
That was probably what this was about https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...st-dev-channel-fe_release.82596/#post-1626998
