Anyome else having issues upgrading to this build? It stops at 20% during install all the time. Error 0xc1900101. I dont use any 3rd party av.
Mine sat at 98% after the final reboot for 2 hours. I finally power cycled it and it booted to the desktop .
I think this one of those builds where I can’t find anything new. Not even the change to renaming the accessibility folder in start menu is showing up for me. update: nevermind the change is in settings I misread
Well News is there alright, but it does nothing. When I click on Manage Interests or on any link, it just closes. Recommended Browser Settings is gone, Defender asks users to sing into Enterprise Onedrive for ransomware protection. But it is definitely fast, it took me only 12 mins to restart.
My browser setting are still here defender is fine and if it took 12 mins to restart your comp sounds like your HD is about to die, im not having issues like that.
So News is actually Cortana? I was expecting a separate app, nice trick MS. Edit is also gone from the context menu, editing pictures is going to be fun.
I've noticed since updating to this build that Dolby Atmos for home theater is no longer an option in the Sound settings and the Dolby Access app now says my device is not supported. Connected via HDMI from my 2080Ti directly to a Yamaha RX-V6A as well as a Sony 75" XH90 and both obviously has been working flawlessly (as it could be anyway) before, re-installed drivers but does not solve the issue. Anyone else having this issue with no longer being able to make use of Dolby Atmos for home theater, unless I've missed something critical. I've also noticed a small bug with the Notification Center opening on a different monitor when the icon is clicked first time, clicking a second time opens it up on the default monitor.
The text "Find a Setting" is not centered, I've seen this on lastest builds, but assumed they would fix it.... Maybe not... If they ship 21h1 like this, I'm going to lose any hope one day we will see more consistency on the GUI.
See if enabling "SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support" from Control Panel -> Turn Windows features on or off, would help!
