[DISCUSSION] Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 21382.1 (PC) [FAST/Dev Channel - co_release]

For no apparent reason, the upgrade went through overnight. Really wish MS would explain.

This build is installing KB5003266 even though it was installed on the previous build.

 

A small change: now in Explorer settings "Use Compact Mode" has been replaced with "Decrease space between items (compact view)"
I haven't noticed that before.

 

Yes, finally working on my computers to. They have got to fix this soon. Horribly annoying.

Edit. No it still wont install but it made it further than before. Stops at 40% now while it stopped on 20% before so in a few weeks i might be able to install it.

 

any idea when we can expect 21H2 basebuild i.e 21xxx.1? End of this month when build 2021 take place i.e. 25-27 May? Or Mid/end June 2021?

 

No Timeline BUT now that 21H1 has been released to the Public, figure that 21H2 will take it's place in the Beta_Channel

 

Then you must be doing something wrong. Did you read that I said to use NSudo? This runs cmd as trusted installer, and it always works.

 

What should MS explain?

 

Why the last two builds have failed to update with an error for days, then just suddenly update.

 

after this update i was able to remove the win.old folder....go figure

 

MS sending anything this week?

 

can't wait to it hits the beta channel
