Guess no new build today. No communication at all. Terrible.

Because of Win11 announcement. Next insider build will probably be a Windows 11 build.
So yes, no new builds until June 24... probably.

I have Windows 10 running happily on a rp5700. That's my "did MS break compatibility yet?" piece of crap test system.

I wonder if the next true build will be the build that finally refuses to work on it.

That's a whole lot of assumptions. It was a short week in the US this week because of Memorial Day which is the most likely reason there being no builds this week.

Yes, but they didn't say anything about there being no builds this week on their Twitter, which is highly unusual, they always make an announcement when they don't have a build...

The announcement of 21390.1000 implies the death (again) of co_release branch. I guess we'll have to receive nothing but updates of 21390 before 24th.

However, this could also mean that we'll have Sun Valley update this fall as schedule.

That is just crazy-talk! Many times MS releases an update to a Development build to test pipeline servicing. This is a very common occurance.

Well, yes, having updates for insider builds to test servicing pipeline is absolutely normal. But this time it's different. They said that there will be only 21390 updates for next several weeks. In this case I believe they're simply not ready to flight Sun Valley builds from co_refresh branch until 24th. Meanwhile, co_release branch has officially stopped development. 21390 is the last build from this branch. Next time when they "back to normal" again we'll receive 217xx builds from co_refresh branch.

They are ready. It's just that the higher ups don't allow them to. It's not up to them.
They just aren't allowed to show anything Sun Valley-related to the outside world until the 24th of June.

I do hope we get a build leak in the meantime. With all or most of those cool new features baked in. While we wait for the official announcement.

I have to say, I missed this secrecy and surprise, since the XP / Longhorn days

Sure if a build leaks before 24 I’ll download, but it’s cool to relieve those days.

No slowdowns?? You mean like opening a zip file with 40000 files inside takes 2 mins with 7-zip? and 5secs with 7-zip without antivirus? But yeah sorry, i do not use antiviruses at all :). I know what i visit in internet, and for risky stuff i have VM :)
