I use the script, from post 879 and forgot the message I got, will try again later when home from work.
Xinso, can you confirm that the features and policy of PW and Enterprise are identical? the only difference being that PW isn't getting any updates (even security).
the executable script is fine, but how do i know wich version is converted ... I did the 32 and 64 bit, but stupid me i did not check the first and second one loll Would be nice to add x64 or 32 bit in the created folder file name ??? the dism /get-wiminfo /wimfile: gives me Windows 10 Pro for Workstations, but doesn't enumerate 32 or 64 bits ??
I will add a comparison operator to determine the index architecture for X86 and X64. The version that's converted will be the exported WIM sent to the generated desktop folder upon completion. Either way I'll add an architecture check.
thks i'm kinda noob in scripting and Dism commands too ... thks to all MDL members who works hard and make exe's and/or batch files for us
On win pro ws right now had to activate with a different serial, try continually to install the infamous kb4054517 ... trying to install it manually, says its not compatible with this version of windows ??? WOW 65 instances of svchost loll Love the more complete task manager Integrated the install.wim of the ConvertTo-PfW into the install.wim of 16299.15.170928-1534.RS3_RELEASE_CLIENTCOMBINED_UUP_X64 with with wintoolkit 1.6.0.1 all installed ok ... Edit : thks Enthousiast just read that on mdl ...
First, there is a new SSU and CU for 1709, second, the updates still don't have professionaleducation and professionalworkstation in their applicability list, as mentioned a few times before
I use the script, from post 879 I have now downloaded the esd 16299.125 converted to iso,and I tried the script and now all is just as it should.
